- November 15th – PTA Family Event: PJs, Pancakes, & Book Fair; 5:30-7:30pm. Stop by anytime between 5:30-7:30pm to eat and shop in your PJs!
- November 21st -1/2 Day; Conferences (12:10pm dismissal; no lunch)
- November 22nd-1/2 Day; Conferences (12:10pm dismissal; no lunch)
- November 23rd through 25th – No School
- November 30th – 2nd & 3rd graders: Science Olympiad Kick Off Meeting (7:00pm @ Heritage Media Center)
- December 7th – Community Education Winter & Spring Program Registration Begins

- Book Fair Sign Up
- Help during the day when students are shopping for books with the class. Students will need help determining if they have enough money – especially determining tax!
- Conference Dinner Snack Sign Up
- Please join us in providing snacks for the Harvest Teachers and staff during conferences! Please send in donations no later than the morning of Monday, November 21st. Thanks!
District Notes
- As part of the required regular program evaluation cycle, the SAS Sex Education Advisory Board surveys families to gather their input and feedback regarding the sex education programming offered in Saline Area Schools. Similarly to previous district surveys, the Saline Area Schools will work with their data collection partner, K12 Insight, to gather this information. The parent/family survey will be sent with a direct link via email on November 15th to the primary contact listed in our Powerschool database. This survey will close on December 9th. If you do not receive a survey, you can contact the research team at east@k12insight.com who help administer our surveys. In addition to gathering this information from our families, we will also be issuing a survey to High School students to gather their perspectives from their experience with the SAS sex education programming. If you would like to view the High School student survey, please follow THIS LINK. To opt out your High School student from taking the survey complete THIS FORM. If you would like more information on the sex education programming offered in Saline Area Schools, please visit the curriculum section of the district website HERE. This Friday, November 11th, is Veteran’s Day. To all our Harvest family members who are veterans, thank you for your service. Enjoy the story Veterans: Heroes in Our Neighborhood with Tristan to learn more about Veteran’s Day and think about the heroes in our neighborhood that we will celebrate this Friday. I will be celebrating my father and my grandfather, two heroes and veterans that take up big parts of my heart.
