Week of August 26th – August 30th

A Note from Ms. Sickler

I know most people say “Happy New Year” on January 1st, but for me, the first day of school has always been my “New Year”.  A new teacher, new classmates, new space, and new opportunities await our students.  My New Year’s resolution is that tomorrow and each day I welcome all students to Harvest with a smile and make sure they feel safe and welcome.  As Kid President says, it’s time to be more awesome”.

I wish all a joy-filled 2019-2020 school year.

Ms. Sickler

Did You Know?

Did you know that all Y5-5th grade classrooms received new furniture for the 2019-2020 school year?  On Wednesday, August 21st, our teachers had a chance to learn more about flexible seating and make purposeful decisions setting up their classrooms.  To showcase their work, teachers across the district took part in a Twitter Challenge sharing spaces with the hashtag #SASlearningspace.
